Challyce Marie

A native of California, Challyce began her dance journey at the age of three at Bre Dance Studio located in Riverside California and became proficient in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Modern, Contemporary and African. In addition to Bre Dance Studio, she trained at Arroyo Valley High School, Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, California State Summer School for the Arts, and the Alvin Ailey Summer Intensive. Challyce graduated Cum Lade from Alonzo King Lines/Dominican University of California.

As a performer she has worked with an array of companies such as Alonzo King Lines Ballet, tinypistol, IG Tanz, Adhesive Physical Theatre, Bühnenwerkstatt, , Oper Graz, and toured as a performer in the ATG Production of the West Side Story in the U.K.

As a Director and Choreographer, Challyce produced work for her company Existanz which was commissioned by the city of Graz, and produced work for Oper Graz as a guest artist.

Challyce was the former pedagogy director of IG Tanz in Graz, Graz University of Sports Institute, Palos Verdes High School and many other dance schools.

She is now a freelance artist in Los Angeles.
